InHABITED ABSENCES

mixed media on paper

These works stage rooms where presence and absence overlap. Domestic interiors, suburban objects, and fragments of art history are pulled together into spaces that feel both lived-in and emptied out. They are not reconstructions but collisions: memory, myth, and pop culture inhabiting architecture like ghosts. The absences are deliberate, the furniture and artifacts doing the speaking. Each image works as a kind of stage set for the subconscious — a place where the past presses in on the present, where what’s missing is as palpable as what remains..
