Old paintings slip their centuries and wander into the wrong rooms—Caravaggio under a drop ceiling, Guido Reni in the soft hum of a suburban den. Egg tempera slows the clock; digital collage speeds it up. Between the two, memory and myth blur, leaving only the strange afterimage of a story you almost remember.
